Moving In

We have finally moved into our house! After over one and a half years, we are now out of the garage apartment and into our downstairs house. I have my own room, and although small, I love it. I am having a great time living in our new, full house. Our Christmas Tree looks great in our family room, even with half unpacked boxes surrounding it.

Summer

Over the summer, I did a lot more than I posted about. My uncle moved from Pennsylvania to here. With him, we hiked Multnomah Falls, went to the Zoo, touched the end of the ape caves, stayed at the beach several times and stayed at the Lewis River along with relaxing with him. After about two months, he left for a year long trip to Laos.
I attended boy scout camp in Idaho and pulled several "G's" at Silverwood. We went to the fair almost every day and rode lots of rides. Staying on Mt. hood was fun also. We have finished laying floor and our grass grows taller every day. School has started and our relaxing break is over, but we accomplished a lot and enjoyed summer.

Here is me, mom, Emma and Berk with tucker at Multnomah Falls.

Here we are at the Zoo.

Here we are in the ape caves.

The beach was a lot of fun.

I love the Lewis River.

While hiking to Timberline, there were some amazing views.

We got to ride our bikes a lot, which I enjoy to do.

Grit '08

On June 29th, I left for Grit at Island Lake Camp.
With Motto-X, a high ropes course and paintball, I had a blast.
During our seven hours of free time, we could swim, boat, skateboard,
roller blade, play carpet bowl and...... Blob!
Even with all those activities, I had time to sleep.
I was lucky enough to get put on Tom's team, yellow, and we completely
crushed the other three teams. My dad came to lead the 9th graders
and my uncle led my group until my regular leader arrived.
In comp, my dad's green team came in 4th place, but he still had fun.
He became friends with his group and led one to Christ.
Overall, 12 kids became Christians and 23 were baptized.
On Wednesday night, we all brought pillows to the church area
and had communion while worshipping for about 3 hours.
I got to grow in Christ while having lots of fun.
Go Grit!

Funny Prank

This is hilarious! But, it would suck if that happened to you.

What to do with your Spare Time

Whoever this is has way to much time on his hands! There was another video of this same thing by this same guy, and it was three times longer. Still, this is cool.

Parkour

This is from David Bell's movie. He is a parkour artist. All these stunts are genuine. It would be so cool to be able to do that.

Amazing Crash

This is truly amazing! The fact that the driver survived is a fantastic demonstration of God performing miracles in this day and age!

Remodel

My family and I are remodeling our house. It is a big project because we basically have to tear down and rebuild it. We have hit many bumps, like our spiral staircase being built wrong, but is fun.

Here are the stairs to the apartment.

The red sided part is the only remnant of the old house.

Here is the front(the land scaping hasn't been done in this picture).

We have spray foam for insulation

Yellow house. Hard to paint. We painted the whole house by hand.

Here is my grandpa and I putting up our fence. This is the framing of the downstairs house.

This is our spiral staircase.

This is our snow covered 4 car garage. It is quite an adventure remodeling a house.

Family Fun

My family and I traveled out to a nearby campus to play recently.

I achieved an amazing 21.5 m.p.h. on my bike. Downhill of course. Tucker had fun chasing his ball in a big field. He did a good job of not chasing other dog also.

This is me making an amazing frisbee catch.

This is a picture of the campus we went to.

Finally, here is my mom trying to load the dog into the car to go home. Because of him we had to make an extra trip since one of us forgot his leash. All in all though, it was a fun time.

Go Seahawks!

My favorite football team is the Seahawks. Although they did not make it into the Superbowl, they did have one man play in the Probowl. Go Seahawks!

My First post

I finally convinced my parents to let me blog, so I'm excited. I got the inspiration for my title when I flew a Cessna last summer. I might become a commercial pilot.
